Health Studies

- Conducting epidemiologic investigations in response to outbreaks and disease clusters that are believed to have environmental causes.
- Conducting epidemiologic studies to better understand the relationship between human health and emerging environmental hazards.
- Performing chemical and radiological surveillance.
- Responding to environmental disasters.
The HSP also provides technical assistance and develops tools, resources, and trainings to help build the environmental epidemiology capacity of domestic and international public health partners.
