Army WivesKim Delaney portrays Claudia Joy Holden on the Lifetime show ‘Army Wives.’
On the August 23rd episode of Lifetime Television's hit show Army Wives, lead character Claudia Joy Holden, portrayed by actress Kim Delaney, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Claudia Joy's diagnosis is made following her becoming faint, losing control of her car, and being taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The storyline involving Claudia Joy's dealing with her diabetes diagnosis is highlighted throughout the season; in the next two episodes (August 30 and September 13), Claudia Joy begins to manage her type 2 diabetes.
